What is a SAM,gov CAGE code?

According to DLA (Defense Logistics Agency), the CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) code is a 5-character ID assigned to entities registered in the US with SAM.gov. In order to do business with the federal government, an entity must have a CAGE code.

As SAM’s Registration process is everchanging, we always recommend getting a head start on your renewal and/or first time registration so you can start receiving the federal funding you need for your business.

USBRI has been offering filing services and assistance for the SAM Registration and Small Business Certifications since 2011. There are many small obstacles and tedious tasks to be completed during the SAM Registration process. It is highly recommended to obtain assistance during this process, especially if completing the SAM Registration for the first time.

If you are unsure if you have a CAGE code, use the tool by clicking the button below.
