What happens if SAM registration expires?
Until your SAM Registration is renewed and active, all payments from existing federal contracts will cease, and this can seriously affect your business. In general, we recommend that you handle SAM renewal a couple of months before your SAM profile expires.

- At the top of the home page, select “Check SAM Expiration Date” in red
- Input your company’s name, UEI, or CAGE code, if you know it.
- After the page refreshes, it will give you a detailed status of your company’s SAM Registration including UEI, NAICS codes, and POC’s.

How do I get a WOSB Certification?
The first step in receiving your Woman-Owned Small Business certification is to have an active SAM Registration with SAM.gov. Next, you will want to find out your eligibility. Follow these steps below:
- Visit www.usbri.us
- Under “Small Business Certifications” select “Woman-Owned Small Business Certification (WOSB/EDWOSB) Eligibilty
- Read through the webpage to familiarize yourself with the benefits and qualifications on receiving an WOSB Certification
- At the bottom, you can fill out the WOSB Eligibility Questionnaire and see if you meet the qualifications

How do I get a Small Business Certification?
To get a Small Business Certification, there are a few requirements.
- Must be considered a small business by SBA standards
- Proper NAICS codes must be listed in SAM Registration
- Must have an active SAM Registration

How do I qualify as a small business?

When does my SAM expire?
