There is no “SAM accounts” so your user account will not expires. However, an entity’s registration will expire annually until it is renewed. To check the status of your SAM, follow the steps below:

    • Visit www.USBRI.us
      • Alternatively, at the top of this page, select “Check SAM & UEI Status” in red.
    • Input your company’s legal business name, CAGE code, or UEI number
    • Solve the security question

Yes, a sole proprietor can register in SAM.gov (System for Award Management). SAM.gov is an official website of the U.S. government that consolidates several federal procurement systems.
