How do I know if I am registered with SAM?

To know if you are registered with SAM, follow the steps below:

  • Navigate to the top of this page and click the “Check SAM Expiration Now” in red
  • Input your CAGE code, UEI, or company and solve the problem and hit submit
  • After a few seconds, a summary of the registration will appear including UEI, CAGE, POC’s, NAICS codes, and more!

How do I get a copy of my SAM registration?

You can get a summary of your registration by logging in to SAM, searching your entity, and downloading the summary. If you need any help, you can always reach out to us at 1-888-646-9998 and one of our Certified Registration Specialists would be happy to assist you.

How do I get a SAM code?

SAM does not assign a “code”, only a UEI (Unique Entity Identifier). The DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) assigns what is known as a CAGE code. Both UEI and CAGE codes are assigned once to each entity.

How long is a SAM.gov certification good for?

The SAM “certification” is generally and more popularly known as a “registration” Your SAM registration is good for one year and needs to be renewed every 12-months in order to continue doing business with the federal government. We recommend business to get a head start on the renewal process at least 60 days before set expiration as validation is taking longer.
