SAM Registration’s are good for one year after it has become active. If you are unsure of your entity’s status, follow the steps below:

• • Visit www.USBRI.us
    • Alternatively, at the top of this page, select “Check SAM & UEI Status” in red.
  • Input your company’s legal business name, CAGE code, or UEI number
  • Solve the security question
  • Allow the page to generate a brief summary of your SAM Registration (if there is one) which will include:
    • Expiration Date
    • NAICS Code
    • PSC Codes
    • POC’s
    • and more

Purpose of SAM Registration

The point of having an active SAM Registration is so you are able to bid on federal contracts and grants, If you do not have an active SAM, you will not be able to earn grants or contracts. SAM is the money portal for the federal government, keeping track of where the money is going.

How to Continue SAM Registration

To continue a SAM Registration you must log into SAM and as long as you have access to the registration you will be able to renew. If you do not have access, you will need to gain access in order to update via a new procedure implemented by SAM in 2022.

Edit SAM.gov Registration

To edit your SAM Registration, login to your SAM account and as long as you have access to the registration you can update it, If not, you would need to gain access to the registration via a new procedure implemented by SAM in 2022.
