Being a Federally Certified Small Business will increase your changes of being chosen for contracts with the federal government. If you have a SAM Registration and are ready to go further, consider getting your Federal Small Business Certification.

Some benefits include:

• Bid on or directly be awarded Small Business Set-Aside Contracts
• Federal Contracts $250,000 and below are Small Business Set-Asides – 70% awarded directly without the bidding process (important to be found easily)
• 23% of all federal contracts are Federally Mandated to be awarded to small businesses
• Be directly found in the Federal Small Business databases by Contracting Officers and Prime Contractors for subcontracting opportunities on contracts over $750,000
• Be found for No-Bid Contracts below the $25,000 threshold
