How do I renew my SAM Number?

Your SAM number (UEI) is not something that needs to be renewed, your SAM Registration is what needs to be renewed. In order to do this you must do the registration on SAM.gov and go through IRS and DLA/CAGE validation. Over the last few years, SAM and DLA/CAGE have implemented new policies that are slowing down the renewal process. USBRI recommends business’s begin the renewal process AT LEAST 60 DAYS BEFORE EXPIRATION. Starting early reduces the chance of any and all federal payments to be placed on hold.
