WOSB certification authorizes contracting officers to set aside specific solicitations for competition solely among certified women-owned businesses. EDWOSB adds an economic-disadvantage requirement; personal net worth under $850,000, average adjusted gross income under $400,000 over three years, and total assets under $6.5 million, and in exchange, qualifies for additional funding and smaller, less competitive set-aside pools.
