What is a SAM Number?
The “SAM” or “SAMs” number refers to either the Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) or CAGE Code assigned by the DLA. The UEI and CAGE Code are both identification codes used when you are applying for any federal contracts or grants. The way to obtain a UEI or CAGE Code is by registering an entity into SAM and going through the validation processes.
USBRI has offered filing assistance with the SAM Registrations since 2011. You can reach out to the USBRI Help Desk at 1-888-646-9998 and a Certified Registration Specialist (CRS) will be able to assist you and discuss options with you.
