Your SAM Registration will go through two validation processes. The first being IRS and the second being CAGE/DLA. Both SAM and CAGE are attempting to verify that you are a legal entity before you can do business with the US federal government.

Having federal contracts help your business grow and gain more opportunities. The first step to obtaining federal contracts would be to have active and compliant SAM Registration.

If you are unsure if you have a SAM Registration or what NAICS codes are tied to yours, follow the steps below:

    • At the top of this page, select “Check SAM & UEI Status”
    • Input your company’s legal business name, CAGE Code, or UEI
    • Select “Check SAM Status NOW” in blue
    • Allow the page to generate a summary of your SAM Registration that will include
      • UEI and CAGE Code
      • Expiration Date (if it’s within 60 days, begin the renewal process NOW)
      • PSC and FSC Codes
      • Primary NAICS Codes
      • Designated POC’s
