The “SAM” (System for Award Management) ID is more generally known as a UEI (Unique Entity Identifier). A UEI is assigned to all entities registered in SAM and expires every year and must be renewed annually. If you are registered in SAM and need to know your UEI, check your registration status by following the steps below:
- Navigate to the top of the page and select the red button that says “Check SAM Expiration Now“
- Input your company name or CAGE code.
- After you select “Check SAM Status NOW”, allow the page to load your current SAM Registration which will provide information such as UEI, CAGE code, NAICS codes, and POC’s.
