What is the HUBZone Certification, and what are its primary benefits?

The HUBZone Certification program is a small business set-aside certification that is presented by the Small Business Administration (SBA). There are many benefits to being HUBZone certified, but it’s primary one is being awarded contracts that specifically go to HUBZone certified businesses. There are certain federal contracts or grants that must be awarded to those in a HUBZone. so if you are certified you will be a recipient of them.

Two of the main requirements to being HUBZone certified are being active in SAM as well as qualifying as a small business, meeting the SBA’s size standards. If you are unsure if you qualify as a small business or have a SAM Registration, use the tools by clicking the buttons below.
