The only database that tells you if your business “has a NAICS code” is SAM. When registering in SAM, you will be asked to input your company’s NAICS code and select one as primary. If you are unsure if you have a SAM or the correct NAICS Code, follow the steps below:

    • At the top of this page, select “Check SAM & UEI Status”
    • Input your company’s legal business name, CAGE Code, or UEI
    • Select “Check SAM Status NOW” in blue
    • Allow the page to generate a summary of your SAM Registration that will include
      • Primary NAICS Codes
      • UEI and CAGE Code
      • Expiration Date (if it’s within 60 days, begin the renewal process NOW)
      • PSC and FSC Codes
      • Designated POC’s
      • and more
