What happens when my SAM.gov Registration is expired?

When your SAM.gov Registration is expired, all payments from federal contracts or grants will CEASE until the registration becomes active again. This can affect the flow of businesses and is vital to be on top of the registration status. Follow the steps below to check the expiration date of your SAM.gov Registration:

    • At the top of this page, select the red button that says “Check SAM Status & Details”
    • Input your company’s legal business name (not the dba or fictitious name), CAGE code, or UEI number
    • The page will load with a brief summary of the current information on the SAM Registration including
      • Expiration Date
      • POC’s
      • NAICS codes
      • and more
