Is there a difference between DUNS and EIN or TIN?
No, the UEI (formerly DUNS) number and your EIN or TIN (taxpayer identification) are not the same thing. To find out your registrations UEI number, follow the steps below:

- At the top of this page, select Check SAM Status & Details
- Input your company’s name or CAGE code
- Then, a brief summary of your SAM Registration will generate including:
- UEI
- Expiration date
- POC’s
- NAICS Codes
- and more
