To qualify for a HUBZone Certification in the United States, your business must meet specific criteria set forth by the SBA guidelines such as:

  1. Principal Office Location:
    • The principal office address of the business must be  located in a designated HUBZone. You can check if your business location is in a HUBZone by using the HUBZone Map Tool.
  2. Business Structure:
    • The business must meet the criteria as a small business according to the SBA size standards,
  3. Ownership and Control:
    • At least 51% of the business must be owned and controlled by a U.S. citizen.
  4.  Employees’ Residence:
    • 35% of the business’s total employees must reside in a HUBZone.
