When obtaining federal contracts, you are required to have a SAM Registration. With that, comes the requirement of inputting a NAICS Code. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) codes are a string of six digits that let’s contracts and subcontracts know what kind of of service your business provides. If you are unsure what kind of NAICS code applies to your business, use the lookup tool by following the steps below:

    • At the top of this page. hover over “Tools & Services” and select the first option “NAICS Code Lookup Tool”
    • Input a NAICS code, keyword, or phrase and select “Find NAICS Code”
    • If there is a matching NAICS code to what your put in the box, they will generate on the bottom of the page giving the NAICS code and what the NAICS code is for.
