Can you explain what NAICS codes are?

What are NAICS Codes?

The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) code is a two or six-digit numeric code that federal statistical agencies use to classify businesses into industries. They are often used when identifying what a business does in terms of the service provided.

When referring to NAICS codes with SAM Registrations, they are required so prime contracts can be able to find you easily in the Small Business Database (if you qualify).

USBRI has been offering assistance with SAM and Small Business Certifications since 2011. A dedicated CRS will be assigned to your company to facilitate the entire process for you and ensure you are active and compliant in SAM. If you have questions, reach out to the help desk at 1-888-646-9998.
