This SMS Messaging Policy explains how United States Business Registration (“USBRI,” “we,” “us” or “our”) uses text messaging and describes the terms that apply when you choose to receive SMS or MMS messages from us. This policy supplements our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Our messaging program may provide information regarding an inquiry, order, account, document request, registration or certification status, service update, expiration or renewal reminder, customer support matter and additional products, services, certifications or programs for which a business may qualify. Messages may also include marketing or promotional content, special offers and discounts when permitted by your consent and applicable law.
You receive text messages from USBRI only after providing the consent required for the type of message being sent. Consent may be provided by checking an SMS consent box on a website form, signing a written authorization, texting a designated keyword or using another method that creates a valid record of consent.
By providing consent, you authorize USBRI and its messaging service providers to send text messages to the mobile telephone number you supplied. Messages may be sent using an automated system or other messaging technology. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the telephone number provided and that you are authorized to consent to messages at that number. Please notify us promptly if your telephone number changes or is reassigned.
Service related messages may include order confirmations, document requests, account notices, status updates, registration or certification information, expiration and renewal reminders and customer support communications. Marketing messages may include information about additional services, certifications, programs, promotions, discounts or opportunities that may be relevant to your business.
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us, the services requested and the status of your account or registration. Message frequency may increase near an expiration date, renewal period, document deadline or while a service request is actively being processed.
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan. USBRI does not charge a separate fee for text messages, but your carrier may impose charges. Contact your carrier for details.
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to a message. You may also use another reasonable method to communicate that you no longer consent, including contacting us at [email protected] or 1-888-646-9998. We will honor valid revocation requests within the time required by applicable law.
After you opt out, we may send one final text message confirming that your request was received. You will not receive additional marketing text messages unless you provide consent again. Opting out of text messages does not cancel a service, order or payment obligation and does not prevent service-related communications through email, telephone or mail.
Reply HELP to a text message for assistance. You may also contact USBRI at [email protected] or 1-888-646-9998.
We use mobile telephone numbers and messaging information to operate the messaging program, provide requested services, maintain consent and opt-out records, respond to inquiries, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or share mobile opt-in information or SMS consent records with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. We may disclose limited information to messaging platforms, telecommunications providers and other service providers solely as needed to deliver messages, administer the program and support our business operations. Additional information about our privacy practices is available in our Privacy Policy.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and network availability. USBRI does not guarantee that every message will be delivered or received within a particular time.
You must be at least 18 years old and have a text-capable mobile device and active wireless service to participate. The messaging program may not be available on all devices, carriers or service plans.
Text messages are not encrypted and may be accessible to anyone with access to your device or mobile account. Do not send payment card numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers or other highly sensitive information by text message unless we specifically provide a secure method.
We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the messaging program at any time. We may also update this SMS Messaging Policy. The revised policy will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued participation after an update is subject to the revised policy, except where additional consent is required by law.
This SMS Messaging Policy is incorporated into and should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. If a conflict concerns text messaging, this SMS Messaging Policy controls to the extent of that conflict unless applicable law requires otherwise.
