SAM Registration: Using the Same Registration for Two Entities

Unfortunately, every individual business must have their own registration.

To know if you are already registered with SAM, follow the steps below:

  • Navigate to the top of this page and click the “Check SAM Expiration Now” in red
  • Input your CAGE code, UEI, or company and solve the problem and hit submit
  • After a few seconds, a summary of the registration will appear including UEI, CAGE, POC’s, NAICS codes, and more!

What NAICS codes qualify for small businesses?

NAICS Codes for Small Business

While your company can have as many NAICS codes as you want, only a certain number of NAICS code qualify a business as a SBA Small Business. To find out, follow the steps below:

    • At the top of this page, hover over “Tools & Services”
    • Select “Small Business Certification Eligibility Calculator“
    • Input the appropriate information
      • Primary NAICS Code
      • Average Annual Receipts of the last 3 years
      • Number of W-2 employee
    • Select “Check Small Business Eligibility Now”
    • Allow the page to generate the results and it will tell you if the NAICS code is valid for a Small Business Certification
